 MSN APRN PMHNP-BC

I’m a Board-Certified psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in Georgia. I received my master’s from Walden University in Minnesota and have been practicing for 3 years. I have been in mental health management or over 20 yrs. Starting as a BSN, MSN Then becoming a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I specialize in mental health care, providing comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for various psychiatric disorders. My role involves offering therapy, prescribing medications, and developing personalized care plans to support patients in achieving optimal mental health. I work closely with individuals and their families, emphasizing a holistic approach to improve their overall well-being.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I am best positioned to serve clients across the lifespan who are experiencing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other psychiatric conditions. I work particularly well with individuals seeking a compassionate, holistic approach to mental health care, including those who may benefit from both medication management and therapeutic interventions. My practice is inclusive and supportive, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, whether they are dealing with acute issues or managing chronic conditions.

In the first session with me as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, clients can expect a comprehensive and welcoming environment where we begin with a thorough assessment of their mental health history, current symptoms, and any relevant medical background. We will discuss their concerns, goals, and any previous treatments they have undergone. This session is an opportunity for me to understand their unique needs and to establish a trusting, collaborative relationship. Together, we will develop an initial treatment plan, which may include therapy, medication, or other interventions tailored to their specific situation.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, my greatest strengths as a provider include my ability to establish strong, empathetic connections with my clients, ensuring they feel heard and supported. I bring a holistic approach to care, considering the physical, emotional, and social aspects of each client’s well-being. My extensive knowledge in psychopharmacology and therapeutic techniques allows me to create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans. Additionally, my dedication to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in mental health care ensures that I provide evidence-based, high-quality care to my clients.
